It never ceases to amaze me

It never ceases to amaze me. The devil ALWAYS turns everything around backward when you are warring against him. ALWAYS!! Actually he can do nothing else, "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be" (Rom. 8:7). And I am speaking of warring with Satan by means of his control over someone else and their thinking. And that is the only way he CAN work, is through someone's carnally minded state that is already in opposition to God. And believe me when I tell you that Christianity and it's traditions is one of the most monstrous promotions of the carnal mind on earth. I had a long discussion with someone last night about the error of the traditions of Christianity, as opposed to the real truth of the gospel; and it was unfortunately no surprise as to how it went. This individual tried to build the entire [supposed] faith of Christ around one scripture that was taken completely out of context. In the meantime I expounded probably a hundred scriptures or so [book, chapter, and verse at that] over the course of an hour and a half, in support of the truth that I was getting across to him. Every single time I asked him graciously to show me in the Bible where his claim was upheld, it drew a blank. And every time it drew that blank, I reminded him that I was confirming the truth that I was speaking BY a consistent flow of scriptural evidence that tied one scripture after another into a complete intertwining of inseparable truth. So after a couple of hours this individual pulled out the big gun on me. He boldly told one of my sons, "Alright open your Bible to II Timothy 3:16,17." We already knew what those scriptures said, partly because they have been integral to a couple of posts that I've put up in the past few days, and a response from someone to one of those posts. But he went ahead and read it, and here it is: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Then he said to me, "Now what part of that don't you believe"? Wow! I mean, are you kidding me!? Why did he pull THAT scripture out, of all the scriptures he could have pulled out? I'll tell you why. Because the holy Ghost put those scriptures in his mind, so that this man could tell on the devil for what he was doing TO HIM, and tell it out of HIS OWN MOUTH! What part of that do I NOT BELIEVE? I am the only one who was providing ANY scriptural evidence of what I was talking about, and I was providing a WHOLE LOT OF IT!! He provided NOTHING from the Bible, but rather just a constant air of confusion filled with Christian rhetoric. So the devil who was in control of this brother's thinking [yes, he is a brother, Spirit baptized] somehow got him to believe that HE was the one providing all of the scriptural confirmation, and that I was resisting the evident truth. In fact, THE EXACT OPPOSITE was EXACTLY what was going on. It was ME who was providing ALL of the inspired scripture by means of the holy Ghost leading me and being with me to do so, and it was HIM who was NOT BELIEVING the evident truth of the scriptures. Yes, the Lord gave him those two scriptures so that I could point out to him that he was the guilty party who was resisting plain wholesome truth that is totally contrary to Christian tradition.

It never ceases. I deal with these kinds of situations on a fairly regular basis, and it's always the same. When I ask someone for scriptural evidence of their Christian claims, it's either one scripture making up an entire doctrine, or maybe I get, "Well, it's pretty deep." Or, "Well, if I had my Bible here." But when I offer up my Bible on my Ipod, it goes to, "That's alright." And I always make it kindly known that I will and do use an abundance of consistent scriptural reality to back up the truth that I am speaking of, but that draws no favorable response either. But in any event it is always an invaluable education for my two sons who are with me in the ministry and are both filled with the holy Ghost, and it always results in more love, sorrow, joy, and more power in the holy Ghost infilling me; so I have no complaints. And occasionally it does result in someone honestly acknowledging the truth, at least in part, and being blessed thereby; even if it only lasts for a season with them. But when someone is under the influence of Satan through Christian tradition being ingrained into them, and they are confronted with the truth of God, they will go to all lengths to try to turn everything around backward to make it appear that YOU are doing what THEY are actually doing, and that THEY are doing what YOU are actually doing (Isa. 5:20). One thing I can tell you my friend is that "the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him" (II Chron. 16:9). And as it has always been, it will more likely be, "That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you [the religious crowd and leaders]" (Mat. 21:31). I see it all the time right before my eyes, that the words of the following parable are ready to be fulfilled: "Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper" (Lk. 14:16-24). And I count it maybe the greatest of privileges that it is usually the latter that want to be around me, and not the former. And the following goes hand in hand with that: "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Mat. 22:14). This is an holy calling my friend, and the only reason that someone will reject the real word of God when it comes their way, in favor of Christian tradition, is because of "the love of this present world" (II Tim. 4:10; I Jn. 2:15-17).
