The Resurrection, Judgment, and New Earth

Today I only have time for a short post, and actually it is a reading assignment for anyone who wants to truly understand the order of things regarding the Lord's second coming, the first resurrection, the millennial reign of Christ, the day of judgment, and the establishment of the new earth and the lake of fire and brimstone. I'm going to post some details on these items when I have more time, but for the moment I'll give you a few things to look for. First of all, most people erroneously believe in a "rapture" before the first resurrection at the second coming of the Lord, and many do not realize that there is a total difference between the millennial reign on this earth, and the eternal state of the new earth. Also see if you are able to identify the actual location of the lake of fire, the final and eternal destination of all who do not obey God's will while in this life. And speaking of the lake of fire, these passages of scripture show who will be the first to go there, and who will follow them next; all three of which will be so detested of God that he will refuse to see their faces at the judgment and send them to their eternal damnation early. Also disclosed is that hell is not where the wicked will spend eternity, but rather hell itself will be cast into the lake of fire. And another standout is the last thing mentioned in Rev. 21 about the new Jerusalem, which states who and what will not be allowed to be there. Begin at Rev. 19:11-21, continue with all of Rev. 20 and all of Rev. 21. Read slow and take in the details. For some reason a whole lot of folks have overlooked the details that are given in these chapters, and have confused some of these things concerning the hereafter. God bless.
