The Only True Doctrine

Yeah I made a similar post recently, but I see this crippling condition so often that I just feel it needs to be made clearly manifest for what it is. Friends, it is not God’s Spirit that makes a Spirit baptized child of God draw back from someone or something who is operating or speaking by the Spirit. No, it is rather a sectarian spirit that is fooling God’s people into believing that it is God’s Spirit. How do these sectarian spirits get the advantage of God’s people, and accomplish this kind of Spirit-quenching operation? Through doctrine! That being erroneous doctrine that is not of God, but has an appearance of being so. If someone is truly tuned into God, they are going to naturally tune in to whatever is OF God, regardless of who it comes through. Once again I am calling out this wicked deceitful spirit that is disguising itself to so many of God’s people, causing them to resist the holy Ghost because it is coming through someone outside of their own little circle, who is not in agreement with the ‘message’ that is exclusive to their little circle. Jesus said that really knowing the truth would make one free (Jn. 8:31,32). The same Jesus said that all the law and prophets are fulfilled in the saying, “thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Mat. 22:39,40). The apostle Paul agreed with this in saying, "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:" (I Tim. 1:5).

The point is that the love of God working in and through us IS the doctrine of Christ. It doesn’t get any better than having "the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Ghost,” and walking therein (Rom. 5:5: I Cor. 13:3; Gal. 6:2). If this is what we believe in, then how can anything keep us from receiving one another IN that love, and having due regard and joy for what the Spirit has endowed someone with for our profit? (I Cor. 12:7) It can’t, or at least nothing that is of God can or will do so. But another spirit, one that masquerades under erroneous doctrine in the name of our Lord Jesus, has in fact wreaked havoc in the body of Christ; fooling God’s people about what is truly of God, and making darn sure that God’s people remain suspicious and afraid of one another, so that nobody is able to connect together in God’s Spirit. The spirit that works day and night to ensure that deception knows that our strength is in our unity (Jn. 17:22,23). Who do you suppose it is that is afraid of our unity and the power it can produce? I can honestly and humbly say that continuing in God’s truth has made me free from this toxic spirit, and has also made me love to embrace everything that I run across that is of God’s Spirit, wherever and through whomever I may find it. And that is a wonderful feeling I must say. I am not afraid of someone putting something false on me because I am already free from it, and the love that God has put in me stands continually ready to offer that freedom to others. If you’ve found a 'deeper light’ than that, well I guess I’m not open to it, because I’m content with the love, joy, and peace that characterizes the doctrine that is of God. Amen.
