Discernment and the World

In the wake of five police officers being ruthlessly killed in Dallas Texas, much needs to be said of what we're seeing take place in the world today, and specifically in the greatest country in the world; which I have been fortunate enough to live in for my entire life. There's a lot of folks who do not understand what all of the 'unrest' really means, and I would like to set some of this in order today. Let's talk about the police, seeing they have been targeted by many of the restless souls in the United States today: "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour" (Rom. 13:1). This passage is about any God-ordained government and those who it is made up of, very much including law enforcement. That is quite evident. According to the Bible, police officers are "ministers of God," and they are there to be a 'terror' to those who do 'evil.' It is clear by this passage that anyone who resists the authority of police is also resisting God, because they have been ordained by God to their duty. The passage is just as clear in saying that those who "resist shall receive to themselves damnation." That is what is there, plainly. The scripture also tells us that if we are doing something wrong in society that we should be "afraid of [their] power." They also are responsible as "a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil," as we have seen. The truth is, like the passage also states, if we are law abiding and minding our own business, police are generally not going to be a problem to us. We are actually paying them to do their job and to preserve order in our society, as is also shown in the above copy.

The problem we have today is the hardened hearts of the wicked, who want to blame police for doing what is their God-given authority to do; which is to be a terror against evil works. The wicked want to do evil, and they want to go unpunished in doing so. They also want to blame the police for their own wickedness, because they are too stubborn and rebellious to turn from their evil ways. So are there any bad police? Well, tell me this: Are there any bad construction workers? Are there any bad CEO's? Are there any bad doctors? Are there any bad firemen? There are 'bad' in EVERY walk of life, yes including police. If police are found out to be corrupt in their job, they should be held to the highest degree of accountability, because their job is that integral and responsible in society. What they should NOT be however, is SCAPEGOATED for the sake of the wicked getting their wicked way. What I have seen in this nation in recent times shows me that the latter is more often the case than the former. What police should NOT be, is neutered in their ability to execute their job, which has been an escalating condition being imposed on the police in this country. Do you have any idea the amount of people who die every year because the wrong pharmaceutical medication was negligently prescribed to them by a doctor, or carelessly transferred to them by a pharmacist? Look up the stats on it yourself. So who has stopped going to doctors or getting medication from the pharmacy? The police also get blamed unduly by many who 'rush to judgment,' in situations where they are not at fault as it may have first appeared. For instance there is now a very large scale mindset here that police have routinely targeted black people to kill them unprovoked. Nobody however mentions that of all police shootings this year, well over twice as many white people have been shot than black people. That's a fact, and it is a fact also that felonies are committed six times more by blacks than by whites. Why don't we ever see or hear anything on the news when the police have shot and killed a white person? Why does that not draw national attention, and such racial candor from the highest level of our government? I will tell you why. Because Satan and all of those who are subject to him love to stir up division and strife between men, because that is the surest way to bring down and destroy a society. He has been very successful in doing so in this nation, and he's had many willing vessels to use in the process; both of high and low estate. The news media is highly guilty in this process as well, being bent toward whatever draws the 'ooohs' and the 'ahhhs' from the watchers, for 'filthy lucre's sake.'

If people here want to escape the judgment of God, they had better not use skin color as an excuse to hold onto and perpetrate evil; regardless of the color, and regardless of the reason. Those who commit their causes to the Lord do not rebel against him as a means of getting something done. It is the wicked who rebel against God and his ordinance, because the wicked do NOT commit their causes to him. The wicked 'singer' Beyonce made an emphatic statement of malevolence against police in her Super Bowl halftime performance, then whined like a baby when police didn't want to give her an escort for a performance a few weeks later. Can you spell h-y-p-o-c-r-i-c-y? I sure can. She probably can't however, or at least she certainly can't define it. Let me say this very clearly my friend: Anyone who is anti-police is also anti-Christ, anti-American, and anti-mankind; and they should be dealt with accordingly. Period. Police are a very important part of the government that is ordained by Christ, and without them we would not have a society at all. If you want to dispute that, or anything else I've written, just understand that you are in direct opposition to the holy scriptures as shown plainly above. If you choose that path and remain on it, you will simply lose by default. "There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord" (Prov. 21:30). That is just another way of saying that you will lose if and when you are in opposition to God on any level, or in any walk of life. There's an old saying that simplifies a lot of things, and it is, "Walk a mile in my shoes." Did you know that police have one of the highest rates of suicide of any profession? They are under a whole lot of pressure in a whole lot of ways, and the present administration of government in this nation has made their job a whole lot harder to do. I dare any police hater to go through their training and do their job for one month. The wicked in this nation had better beware. If a just administration takes office, no doubt the wicked who have been getting their wicked way for a good while, will surely rise up and rebel. If and when that happens, I assure you that there will be a lot of wicked skulls that get crushed. If you rebel and fight against the authority of God, you lose; plain and simple. May God grant repentance unto all, and let all who would prosper heed the admonition of Peter: "Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God" (I Pet. 2:17). We cannot do any of the above if we are "resisting the power, [and thereby] resisting the ordinance of God." Amen.
