Examining the Doctrine of the Trinity

Today I would like to convey something that the Lord has revealed to me by the holy Ghost, in regard to what is the root evil of the erroneous doctrines of the "trinity" and "Jesus Only." These two doctrines dominate the landscape in Christianity, while the truth of the matter is seldom heard, at most. Now this article is really not a detailed account of the true understanding about the Father and the Son, but we do have a couple of powerful online gospel tracts on our website, which are called "The True Oneness of God" and "In The Beginning." The site is www.ByOneSpirit.com But in short order I will say that God never had a beginning, and the Son was begotten directly of the Father before anything else existed. That is why Jesus is referred to as "the beginning," and "the firstborn of every creature" in Colossians 1:15,18. The Father created all things through Jesus Christ, and they each have their own individual body. The Father is greater than the Son, and gave life to the Son. That life is the holy Ghost, which also constitutes the divine nature of them both, and also makes the Father and the Son one; which oneness is a oneness of nature, intent, purpose, understanding, love, holiness, etc. Also the Father knows more than the Son, and the Son is subject to the Father. That should cover the truth of the matter in short order, and here are a list of scripture references that clearly support every statement here without error: (Rev. 4:8; Rev. 3:14; Jn. 1:14, I Jn. 4:9; Eph. 3:9; Jn. 5:37; Mat. 18:10; Jn. 14:28; Rom. 8:2,10; Jn. 17:22; I Cor. 1:10; Mk. 13:32; I Cor. 11:3; I Cor. 15:27,28). You really should read the reference scriptures, and compare them to what I have said here about the subject. Okay, now I can show you what is really, really wrong about the "trinity" and "Jesus Only" doctrines. "Jesus Only" is also referred to often as "Oneness." It's really amazing that the proponents of these two doctrines have long feuded over who is right. Actually, neither are right, or true, and in fact they are saying the same thing in a subtly confusing way. And that is no marvel, because confusion is the earmark of them both. Both of these schools of thought are perverse from the simplistic and easily explained truth of the matter, and both are totally contrary to consistent evidence of the scriptures. And neither of these doctrines can be confirmed by any consistency of the scriptures. The "trinity" claims that there are three divine persons, making the holy Ghost a person, and that these three divine persons are all eternal without beginning, and that they are all equal. And by the way, the scriptures that refer to the holy Ghost as "he" were deliberately mistranslated from the original Greek text of the new testament, from "it" to "he," in order to support the erroneous "trinity" doctrine of the Catholic Church. Also First John 5:7 was not in the original Greek text of the scriptures ["... and these three are one"].

Jesus Only claims that there is one person manifested through three offices, the Father, the Son, and the holy Ghost. In that case, who was Jesus praying to, and referring to as his father? So let's look at what is the real problem with these doctrines, beside the fact that they are perverse and confusing, and cannot be consistently upheld by scripture. The real root of the issue is actually found in how they are both saying the same wrong thing, and that wrong thing is that there is equality in the equation. First of all, the holy Ghost isn't a point of comparison here, because the Spirit is NOT a person, but rather it is the life of the TWO persons. But making the Son equal to the Father takes away the reality that everyone has to be subjected to someone even as Christ is subjected to the Father. Believing that the Father and the Son are equal subtly dictates a proud and stubborn mindset that you do not have to submit to anyone on earth. Satan has long deceived God's people through much subtlety to feel like they don't have to submit themselves to anyone else in the body of Christ. And in doing so he has actually deceived believers into submitting to HIS ministers in the body of Christ without realizing it, which ministers are "transformed as the ministers of righteousness" (II Cor. 11:14,15). None of this is a conscious choice, but nonetheless the persuasion is there, and it comes through erroneous doctrine, mainly the "trinity" doctrine. But again "Jesus Only" also promotes equality by saying there is only one person. And isn't it interesting that the same Catholic Church that founded the "trinity" doctrine, also elevates a woman [Mary] to a place equal to or above God? Yet Mary the mother of Jesus was present on the day of Pentecost, because she needed to be cleansed by the new testament high priest the same as everyone else there. And the subtle influence of these two false doctrines that promote equality between the Father and the Son have also perpetrated equality between men and women in the body of Christ and in marriage, when the scriptures are plainly and consistently against these things (Gen. 3:16; I Cor. 11:3; I Cor. 14:34,35; I Tim. 2:12-14; I Eph. 5:22,23; Tit. 3:5). And again, you should really read these scripture references for yourself. As long as these two "high places" stand in the body of Christ, there will always be mass confusion and division among God's people, and especially power struggles; both in the congregations and in the marriages. And as long as these conditions of things are among us, nobody wins except for Satan. Amen.
