Do you know what is actually the biggest issue in the world today? Let me say that in another way: Do you know what Satan is feverishly trying to accomplish in the world today, more than anything else? Allow me to quote the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle: "The worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal." Trying to make unequal things equal is also the surest way to destroy order. So what is it I'm saying here, and what is the great campaign of the devil to make unequal things equal? One word - feminism. That's right, I said it, and I will not back off of it because I have the backing of God Almighty, his Son Jesus Christ, and all of the heavenly host backing me in the statement. Yes, I certainly do. I wrote a post on this a few days ago, as the Lord freshly revealed something to me on the matter several days ago. That post was mainly on Satan's intended effect in the world, with his broad scope feminist movement. But today I would like to shift the emphasis to the body of Christ, and the effect that feminism has had on it. First let's look at Webster's definition of 'feminism,' then we can move along here: "the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men." Okay, that's good enough for the moment. The Lord showed me a long time ago that if you want to know what's wrong with the body of Christ, just look at what's wrong with the rest of the world. Makes complete sense actually, seeing that we can only be influenced by two persuasions, that being the Spirit of God or the spirit of the world. That's just all there is that's available. So let's see how God's people have been influenced by the spirit of this world, in regard to the feminist movement of the past hundred years or so. First of all, as I noted in my last post on the topic, God established a very simple order in regard to men and women, when sin entered the world in the garden of Eden: "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee" (Gen. 3:16).

Now if you're a woman reading this article, don't give up on me just yet. I'm more than aware that this order of things has been grossly abused by a whole lot of men who have made themselves into tyrants in regard to this order that God established for better reasons than tyaranny. I'm going to get to that momentarily, but first I need to confirm what God has truly established in this matter. Many in God's kingdom today basically try to set forth that this order that was established in the garden no longer exists, often quoting Galatians 3:28, which goes like this: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." This is one of many, many verses that gets pulled out of context to make an erroneous point. By itself it may be tough to argue against, but the fact is that the verse is nowhere near by itself. To begin with, the context of the verse is that the apostle Paul is making the point in the entire book of Galatians, including the third chapter; that being a Jew naturally is not an advantage to anyone, in regard to righteousness. There were men falsely teaching the Galatians that they, being Gentiles, had to convert to being an old testament Jew by being circumcised, if they wanted to be saved (Acts 15:1; Gal. 2:16,21; Gal. 5:2,4). So of course there is no advantage of righteousness according to gender, or nationality, or status in the world, or anything else. Christ paid the same price for us all, and we are of equal value to him because of that. That is the thing that people need to understand, that all men, women, and children in the earth are of equal value because Jesus Christ suffered and died for all at the exact same time, with the exact same suffering and death. It is therefore impossible that we are NOT all of equal value. The order of things in regard to male and female has nothing to do with value, but rather with order; and it takes very little wisdom or insight to plainly see that God is very much a God of order in all of his creation.

Let me give an example here of what I'm saying about both order and value, as it pertains to men and women: A tree branch needs a tree trunk in order to exist. Does that make the trunk 'better' than the branch? Of course not. The branch does things that the trunk can't do, such as bear fruit. But again, the branch is able to bear fruit only because it is of the trunk, so the trunk is greater, but not better. The trunk is actually 'greater' than the branch simply because it was first, and the branch came from the trunk, not vice-versa. The life that is in the branch to bear fruit comes from the trunk, so again, the trunk is 'greater,' but not 'better.' Likewise we know that the woman came from the man, and like the trunk and the branch, the man and the woman are 'one' in marriage (Gen. 2:21-24). Also the life that enables the woman to bear children [fruit] comes from the man, even as the life of a tree branch comes from the trunk. Summing these things up in terms of the order of men and women in God's kingdom, the apostle Paul simply gave us this: "For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man... Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God" (I Cor. 11:8,9,11,12). Male or female, if you have an honest heart that loves truth, you simply have to like what the apostle said there. Paul didn't give men any right to 'lord it over' a woman, whether in marriage or otherwise. Neither has God. He made it clear that as men and women, we surely need one another. Nonetheless, just before making the previous statement, Paul had just written the following: "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God" (I Cor. 11:3). So again we see that the order that God established in the garden of Eden still stands today, and those who are honest and educated properly in the scriptures can see and acknowledge that.

So in understanding that we are talking about order and not worth, in regard to this issue, let's look at some more things that the same apostle stipulated on the matter: "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression" (I Tim. 2:11-14). This is really plain language that Paul used here, and there really is no room for debate on what he was saying. The book of First Timothy was written to Timothy about establishing order in the congregations in Epehsus. This statement was certainly part of that order, and a very large part in fact. Also regarding the congregation at Ephesus, Paul wrote this: "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the [congregation]: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the [congregation] is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the [congregation], and gave himself for it... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself" (Eph. 5:22-25,28). Those who are determined to have a different order than this have made that determination against the order of God. Period. And there are many who have done so and are doing so today. Why? Because God's people have been persuaded by the spirit and mind of this world to do so. It really is that simple. Just look at nature. Men are bigger than women and they are stronger than women, by and large. Why? Because it is their role to take care of women. And why is that? Because women need for them to do that. So why is that? Because in God's evident order and design, men are on a higher level than women, and whoever is higher is responsible for the others. Honestly, the feminist argument is like saying that someone who is missing a leg can run as fast as someone similar to them in age and health who has two healthy legs. That's ridiculous, and we all know that it's ridiculous. Someone with one leg is simply not 'equal' to someone with two legs, in regard to running. The person with two legs is certainly not 'better' than the other, but the inequality that I've referenced is evident.

The whole feminist movement, which has run parallel with the homosexual movement, has quickly escalated today into something beyond insanity. Now we have non-gender bathrooms in public places, boys taking showers with girls in public schools, and a strong move among young people to disannul gender altogether. Homosexuality and the transgender craze have led to these things, but when it's all said and done it's the very same spirit that is in feminism, because that spirit is the perverted spirit of the devil, who perverts and distorts everything that God has established in the earth, as well as in the kingdom of God. Women determining to be more like men in the order of things, gives massive fuel to homosexuality and transgenderism. Anyone who would refuse to see that is just not being honest with themselves. Satan seeks to destroy all order in the world, and to put women in power above men in a prevalent manner. His goal is to weaken the world to the point where it will have no resistance to his will, and the world will be given to him wholly by means of his representative, which is the man known as 'The Beast' in the book of Revelation. The scripture refers to the woman as "the weaker vessel," so of course Satan wants the weaker vessel to be exalted above the man so that he can accomplish his purpose (I Pet. 3:7). Still Peter had stated just previously; "For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement" (I Pet. 3:5,6). For the sake of many women who may feel 'victimized' by the order of God, because they have seen and experienced so much of men abusing this order, let me quote the verse that I just referenced: "Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered" (I Pet. 3:7). So it is obvious that the order of God regarding men and women very much includes the man 'honoring,' 'cherishing,' and 'nourishing' the woman (Eph. 5:29). These things are in reference to marriage, but God's established manner certainly extends beyond marriage into all walks of life. What I'm saying is that women should be dealt graciously with by men everywhere, even as God who is higher and stronger than us has dealt graciously with us all.

Many women who oppose this evident order that God has established in his kingdom, just love to run straight to Deborah, the prophetess who was a judge in ancient Israel (Judg. 4:4). So what is my answer to Deborah? Well, first of all I really look forward to meeting her one day. She was simply an exception to the rule, and she was God's business, not mine and not yours. But I have to say that I know by long experience that there's nothing better than a good prophetess of God. Many reference Esther as well, in a vain attempt to prove that women are 'equal' to men in God's order. But Esther is an especially weak argument. She was selected by a king as his queen, and the king wasn't 'gay,' so naturally he wanted a woman. But anyone who has read Esther can readily see that she was one of the most blatant examples of the order of women in the entire Bible, which is to say she was absolutely subjected to her husband. As far as that goes, many of my favorite characters in the Bible, as well as saints that I have known, have been and are women. I think women are just great, and I also think that God's order in his creation and in his kingdom is great. I believe that if we honor both with the honor that is due, we will accomplish much for the Lord's name. I will say this as well: As long as the body of Christ defies God's order in this matter, and keeps women as pastors, co-pastors, and teachers of congregations; God's people will not be able to overcome the prevalent spirits of this age, and will therefore not be able to manifest Christ anywhere like is needed to this world. As long as we are subjected to the spirits that are systematically destroying the world around us, we will not be able to overcome the world around us, and win it to Christ in truth. Also as long as wives are able to have spiritual and other kinds of dominion over their husbands, which is happening on a broad scale in the kingdom of God, the body of Christ will be weakened and unable to cast Satan out of its midst. I have said for many years that this issue would be the most difficult element of God's order to restore to the body of Christ in the end time, but for those who are honest of heart and lovers of the righteousness of God, it will surely come to pass before Jesus returns from heaven. The order of the man and the woman is the first and oldest order of God that was established in the earth after the fall in the garden of Eden, so it's no surprise that it won't be restored without a monumental fight from the adversary and distorter of all order.
