Understanding the Holy Spirit

Tonight I have to write about a really significant experience I've had over the past couple of days in regard to Christmas and the spirits of men. You may not find it so amazing but it has really had a spiritual effect on me and I see it as a very strong indicator of which direction people are taking spiritually, and where that ends up. I encountered something yesterday that I have never experienced in my life, and some really good things have happened since then that show me that God is soon to rise up and overwhelm the flood of wickedness that is rushing in on the nation I live it, and certainly many others as well. I got my oil changed in my car at a place of business that does that kind of work, and other work for cars too. Everything went normally between myself and the service person who attended to my car, until I was leaving. When I left I graciously told him to have a nice Christmas, and when I did he clearly acted like I wasn't even there. There was no response of any kind, and he just turned and walked away. The man was just a normal looking American guy, and nothing had really stood out to me about him before that. It was a really bad feeling, and it was something that I've never seen before. As I turned away to leave I walked over to where my son was talking to one of the other employees, and stood there for just a few moments while he finished talking. I then told my son I was ready to leave, and I looked at the guy he was conversing with and cordially told him to have a nice Christmas. He did the same exact thing that the first guy had done, and he too just appeared to be an average all-American guy. It was simply incredible, but I realized after the second guy flat faced me that it had to be some kind of company policy that the employees cannot respond to any well-wishing that pertains to Christmas. When we drove away and headed to the post office I felt a degree of anger and contempt for the spirit that those men were being influenced by, and I fully expected it to be the same way at the post office. Standing in line at the post office expecting to encounter the same weirdness there, I overheard a woman wish the woman who served her, a Merry Christmas. When I heard the employee wish her Merry Christmas and Happy New Year back with kindness, I actually cried with appreciation and joy. I can't explain how much it meant to me to hear that after what I had just encountered. It was the same Spirit of God in me that touched my heart in the second encounter, as it was that filled me with contempt for the behavior of the men in the first encounter. Christmas is all about Jesus Christ, regardless of what anyone chooses to believe about the matter; and we can't have a negative view of Christmas without in some manner devaluing Christ. I know all the petty arguments against Christmas and I have no interest in any of them, so please don't leave any fruitless comments here to that effect, as they won't be responded to. The scripture says, "Unto the pure all things are pure," and I have to say that celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ into this world is simply a pure and honorable motive (Tit. 1:15). I happen to love Christmas, and i am 100% certain that Jesus loves me loving it.

Anyway at the end of the night last night after these things had taken place, I came across someone whom I haven't seen for a lot of years, and we had a somewhat lengthy conversation. We were in a fast food restaurant at this time, and when he was leaving to go home I told him to have a Merry Christmas. He responded the same exact way that the men at the car repair place had responded, which was no response of any kind at all. No response other than dealing with me as if I had said something wicked that he needed to turn away from. That was especially strange because in this case the man wasn't even working at the restaurant we were in. He was just there like we were, getting a bite to eat before going home for the night. One of the employees of the restaurant told us that it is no longer 'politically correct' to wish people a Merry Christmas. Really? I'm afraid that doesn't register with me even for a moment. What I witnessed with those three men yesterday reminded me of an old sci-fi movie from the 1950's called 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers.' In the movie, people were taken over by an alien force and they no longer had any feeling or true humanity in them. Those who had not been taken over could always recognize those who had, by noting that they no longer had any kind of natural affection or human normalcy about them at all. That is what I saw and that is where we are headed in this nation and in this world. 'Political correctness' is nothing more than an evil pouting spirit that comes directly from Satan, and it causes all who will accept it to have the absurd mindset that we can't do anything that might possibly offend some minority group of people. It's incredibly stupid, and one has to be incredibly stupid to go along with it, and wicked as well. Political correctness is not for one second about protecting people who are being abused. It is rather about taking away the rights of the righteous so that the wicked can dictate the atmosphere of the world around us.My experience today was otherworldly, as everywhere I went employees were wishing everyone Merry Christmas and being sincere in it. I wept again today in gratitude that God is still managing to get to the hearts of a lot of people, and influence them to bless their fellow man in some way. I felt something today that I haven't felt to that extent since I was a child. I felt an atmosphere of joy and goodwill in a number of places where I went, that in years gone by always accompanied the Christmas season. I believe that God was showing me in these things that he is going to fulfill what is written in the scriptures, that says; "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him" (Isa. 59:19). We are certainly seeing a flood of wickedness rushing in upon this nation and this world, so it is a prime time for God to raise up a standard against it all. I believe we are going to see an answer to one of the Psalms, which reads as follows: "O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?" (Psm. 94:1-3).

The whole political correctness thing is nothing but a wicked fear of man, and a lack of the fear of God. People go along with whatever wicked thing is being established by wicked people, simply because they're afraid for their own wretched hides's sake. it reminds me of one of my many favorite proverbs that says, "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion" (Prov. 28:1). I challenge any fool to try to tell me that I can't worship the Son of God who died for me, and and that I can't celebrate his coming to this world, with much pure love and joy. I challenge any cowering idiot who is "trusting in the arm of flesh" to tell me that I have to act like some other religion is equal to the faith of Jesus Christ. My answer to such a foolish notion is this: "The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens" (Jer. 10:11). We'll see who has things 'correct' "when the Lord Jesus [is] revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (II Thess. 2:7,8). And we'll see just who has the real 'correctness' when the Lord fulfills the following words: "As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God" (Rom. 14:11). We are actually beginning to see what will amount to the separation of the wheat and the tares before the Lord's coming, and I assure you that God has used this Christmas season as an early stage of that process. The people who continue to commit themselves to this insane ideology known as political correctness, will surely get pushed all the way into evil when God begins to move with his mighty Spirit, and when he judges the wickedness for the wickedness they have done to destroy this country that I live in. They prove by their submission to perverse political correctness that they will do whatever wicked men want them to do. On the other hand those who are still showing themselves to be natural human beings and not aliens without natural feeling or affection, are preparing themselves to be pushed all the way into the righteousness of God when he begins to move and bring judgment. I'm not saying everyone is set, just that there is a pattern developing and that it is a very dangerous thing to succumb to this evil known as political correctness. The devil is the greatest pouter, and he has been pouting like nobody's business since being cast out of heaven (Rev. 12:7,8). It is he who feels that he 'deserves' to be in heaven just like the righteous angels, and it is he who influences wicked men to expect that they should be blessed even as God blesses those who love him and trust in him. In fact it is a proven reality that when you try to make a lesser thing equal to a greater thing, the lesser thing actually replaces the greater thing. That is what the wicked are doing. The wicked don't want to make wickedness equal to righteousness, rather they want to get rid of righteousness and replace it with wickedness. I suppose we'll be finding out right soon what God thinks about the wicked and their preferences. As for me, I choose to be 'correct' with God Almighty and his Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
