Truth and Grace

As the end of 2012 is counted down today, I just want to say how thankful I am for the grace and truth that God has allowed me to be a partaker of for the past thirty two years. And I'm thankful to have this outlet as one of the many venues through which this truth is able to be distributed. I'm thankful for each soul that has been benefited during this year from the truth that is shared on this page. And I am thankful for the naysayers as well, as it is their right to gainsay, and they always help to sharpen my skills and spiritual discernment, often providing openings for new truth to come from heaven. I pray always for everyone that I have correspondence with on the internet, and for all who may read these posts; and I count many as dear friends and brethren in Christ [and sistren ; ) ]. I hope, pray, and believe that the New Year will bring added grace, comfort, healing, strength, and help of every kind to all who are seeking the Lord Jesus in truth and in righteousness. We all however should remember that these blessings can often come in mysterious packages, for which we CAN only, and MUST only trust God for (I Pet. 4:12). Sometimes the things that are going to bless us the most can be the source of the most challenge, hurt, and bewilderment to us as well (II Cor. 12:10). Joseph learned that very thing, as did his father Jacob, and David, and countless others in the Bible. Not to mention the twelve apostles of Christ, whose greatest blessedness was yet to come, while they sorrowed after the crucifixion of Jesus, not understanding at that time why he had to die (Jn. 16:20-22). Not only so, but that very blessedness, namely being made one with he and the Father through the baptism that Jesus suffered, died, and rose again to administer to us; could not have come to any of us except he paid that monumental price for it [and for us] (Jn. 17:22-24; I Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:27,28; I Cor. 6:19,20).

In any event, I look forward to GOING forward with God this year, whatever it may or may not bring; because I know that God never changes, and that is a seriously beautiful thing in this world of absolute instability (Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8,14; Jas. 1:17). Just think about it: Do you know for a certainty that God has EVER done ANYTHING to benefit you in ANY way? Of course you do! And that settles it. His only will for you is GOOD because good is what he is! "And we know that all things work together FOR GOOD to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Rom. 8:28). So as long as we are in conformity to his will, and in agreement with him as to what IS good, and trust him fully; EVERYTHING that happens has no choice but to ultimately work for our good, regardless of what it may look like, feel like, or seem like at the time. "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who CAN be against us?" (Rom. 8:31). The only way anything works for our bad is if WE do not continue to DO good and trust God (Isa. 59:1,2). And even then it will only work for our bad so that we will be gently nudged back onto the right track and be blessed, which is all God is interested in for us (Heb. 12:5-13). So I invite you to join me this year in hunkering down and pressing into the kingdom of God and taking it by force, even to which we are called (Lk. 16:16; Mat. 11,12).
