In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (Jn. 14:1-6). Well, to speak straightly to the point, there is the answer to all of our questions, needs, and problems that we deal with continuously. Jesus. Jesus himself. Thomas wanted to be sure how to know the way to get where Jesus was talking about, which in fact was the inheritance of the kingdom of God, which is yet to come. Jesus left him no room to wonder, stating emphatically that HE IS the way! I gave a word of knowledge to a young woman a few nights ago by means of a vision, and in the vision I saw her uncertainty about her future. The Lord showed me to tell her that HE IS her future, and that she just needs to focus on, and abide in, HIM. That is the only way for any of us to arrive at the right future in this life, even as Jesus told Thomas that is the only way to get to the right future place in the life to come. The scripture tells us, "For as many of you as have been baptized [with the Spirit] into Christ have put on Christ: (Gal. 3:27). If we wear him close enough to our hearts, he will always lead us to the right place in all things (Rom. 8:14).

Many times when seeking God diligently and earnestly about something needy, the Lord has given me a song in response, which has the chorus that says; "Just a little bit closer to Jesus and everything is gonna be alright. Great song by the legendary Gospel musician, Don Francisco, whom I had the privilege to meet and see in concert twice this year. When it's all said and done, it's more important that we are seeking to have a closer knowledge of, and experience with Jesus, than to seek him for the answers and solutions we need. And trust me when I tell you, we do need to seek him diligently for answers and solutions. I put much into just that every day, out of sheer and desperate necessity; for myself and for others as well. Yet the only stable and long term answer or solution to any of our needs is to truly be anchored more deeply in the love of God and his holiness, which is found only in Jesus, who is "the express image of his [the Father's] person" (Heb. 1:3). We have Jesus only by being baptized by him with his Spirit, and if we are led by his Spirit then we are his true children (Mk. 1:7,8; I Cor. 12:13; I Jn. 4:13; II Cor. 3:17; Rom. 5:5; Eph. 5:1,2). I think that's all I have to say on this matter today, and hopefully this will catch the attention of some readers the way it caught my attention last night when I was reading this passage. If so, then I have accomplished more with a few words than what could be done with a vast volume of words that are not about our Savior, King, and Advocate, "Jesus Christ the righteous" (I Jn. 2:1).
