Revelation Chapter 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Just a note of revelation from this 21st chapter of the book of Revelation. In the previous chapter to this we see that the bodily resurrection of God's faithful souls will take place at the second coming of Jesus to this world, and that the resurrected saints will reign on the earth with their King for a thousand years. What the Lord revealed to me earlier while I was in prayer is that the physical resurrection of the righteous dead will be the beginning of God's completed work with his redeemed creation. We are told in Romans 8:19-23 that the entire creation of God will experience a literal, physical redemption until immortality, even as the faithful will be clothed with immortality. What we see in the passage above from Revelation 21 is the completion of the redemption and glorification of the entire creation of God. But more pointedly, what the Lord showed to me is that he will perfectly unify the spiritual and physical realms for the first time ever! WOWWWW! PRAISE GOD!

The establishment of the new heavens and the new earth will totally merge the physical and spiritual realms, which have ALWAYS been separated! Dear God, I hope you can feel that like I do! We as the redeemed of the Lamb are part of something that is bigger and better than anything that has ever existed, in heaven or in Earth! Hug Jesus tight from here out blessed ones. The reward of our calling is so much greater than any affliction that we will suffer in this life, that we should almost be able to laugh at pain and tribulation. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Heb. 12:1,2). Amen! And Praise God! And Praise God again!
