Masters of Confusion

People simply have no ideal just how much they are continually being manipulated and domineered by demons. The truth is, if you are not presently walking in the Spirit of God, and being taught by the same, then you are under the dominion of demonic forces without knowing it. In fact, even if you are walking in the Spirit and understanding truth, you may still be influenced to some degree by “the rulers of the darkness of this world” (Eph. 6:12). They are relentless, ever present, and constantly adjusting their sights to find some hole in your spiritual armour where they can get in and disrupt your peace with God. Speaking of the spirit of error that is contrary to God’s wisdom, Solomon said, “Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them” (Prov. 5:6). Nothing could be truer. Whereas the Spirit of truth is straight and unchangeable, the spirit of error is continually changing it’s tactics to find a way to outwit the saints and steer them into the broad path that leads to destruction, both here and hereafter. (Mat. 7:13,14). And like as God’s Spirit teaches truth in pure simplicity, the spirit of error dictates constant confusion by whatever complex means necessary. With very good reason, the apostle Peter warned us: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (I Pet. 5:8). If you are not truly equipped with “the whole armour of God” then you will surely be overcome by the “wiles of the devil” (Eph. 6:10). The warfare that I am speaking of my friend, is one that cannot even be realized by anyone other that those who are diligently seeking after the true righteousness of God that is found only in his Spirit (Rom. 14:17). Most people who are ‘Christians’ have been made to believe that the battle with Satan is in the arena of alcohol, drugs, pornography, and other obvious, overtly immoral practices; not realizing that the real battle that must be won is in far more subtle places spiritually and religiously. One of Satan’s favorite tactics is to influence someone to accuse you of what they are in fact guilty of, while not realizing they are doing so, or that they are under dominion to the devil. Another demonic trick is to try to make you feel that you are being unfair or judgmental because you are calling sin for what it is.

Demons love having Christian people under the self righteous mindset that Christianity imposes, and at the same time move them to say someone who is following after true holiness by the power of God is self righteous. And that comes back around to accusing someone of what you are guilty of, when in fact the accused is not guilty of the same. As long as a person is willing to entertain some form of sin, they will find any and every reason imaginable to justify it as something other than sin. And they will also find every imaginable complex way to reject reproof or correction for their error (Prov. 15:10). This deception is merely a tool of confusion used by demons wherever they are given space by someone to use it. Only by acquiring the mind of Christ can someone have any chance of overcoming the devil with all of his changeable tricks. And the problem there is that as long as God’s people remain under the influence of Christian traditions and doctrines, they cannot develop the mind of Christ. So who do you suppose is behind the traditions and doctrines of the Christian religion? Without refute the modern, sin-friendly traditions of Christianity are the prize possession of Satan and his deceitfully evil horde. The apostle Paul warned the early believers about accepting “another gospel” by means of “another Jesus” being preached to them, other than the Jesus that he preached (II Cor. 11:4; Gal. 1:6-8). And this came to pass even in his lifetime, and was also attested to by the other apostles (II Tim. 1:15; II Pet. 2:1; I Jn. 2:18; Jd. 1:4). God is now seeking a people who will withdraw themselves from everything that goes by the name Christianity because the entire religion is given over to idolatry that Satan has been developing since before the death of the apostles. If you want to overcome the devil and escape the multitude of his tricks, you must be led and taught by the Spirit of truth that has come from heaven, on a continual basis. You simply cannot do this while at the same time being a partaker of the false religion of today’s Christianity. I hope that is plain enough. If you question this admonition, then by all means seek God diligently to see what he has to say about it. In fact do so anyway. Amen.
