The Gospel of Righteousness

"Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother" (I Jn. 3:6-10). So "we’re all just sinners," huh? "Sinners saved by grace," you say? Well, if that is true, as most ‘Christians’ have been taught to believe, then none of us are the children of God; or at least not according to this passage of scripture from the beloved apostle. I don’t know about you friend, but the above passage rings really right with me, and really true. The HOLY Spirit that I received thirty one years ago is still holy, and it still purifies my heart daily; enabling me to walk in the righteousness of God, which in fact IS that same Spirit (Rom. 14:17). Not only so, but nothing but the Spirit of God can do the same for anyone (I Cor. 6:11;Tit. 3:5; Rom. 15:6; Acts 15:8,9). There quite simply is no other Gospel. Period. Amen.
