Romans Chapter 8:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

The resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and his resulting glorification in heaven was the beginning of the new creation of God. We ourselves follow in the order of attention new creation when we become 'new creatures' in Christ by being joined to him in spirit through faith in his death and resurrection got our sake (II Cor. 5:17; I Cor. 6:17; Gal. 3:27; I Cor. 12:13). If we endure faithfully till the end as new creatures in holiness we will be raised from the dead and glorified in body like Jesus is glorified (I Cor. 15:51-54; I Jn. 3:1-3; Mat. 24:13). The physical 'resurrection of the just' at the Lord's coming will be the extension of the resurrection of Christ, because those who are raised will be those who are 'in Christ' (I Cor. 15:20-23). That will constitute the second phase of the new creation of God. After the thousand year reign of Christ and the saints on earth, and after the White throne judgment, all things will be made new through the establishment of the new heavens and the new earth (Rev. 21:1,2). "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new" (Rev. 21:5).

That will be the completion of the new creation of God, and for the first time ever there will be no separation between the physical realm and the spiritual realm. That will constitute the redemption and glorification of the entire creation, as spoken of in the passage above from Romans chapter 8. With that completion of the glorification of all things God will have wasted nothing with any of his original creation. Also for the first time ever man will see the face of God (Exd. 33:20; Jn. 1:18). "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God" (Rev. 21:3). God himself will not be at the White throne judgment, but rather he has given that honor and duty to his Son, as Jesus also told us (Jn. 5:22,27). It will be Jesus who will judge all men, because he was and is a man (Acts 17:31). So this reality is the significance of one of the most famous and significant sayings of Jesus: "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God" (Mat. 5:8). Amen.
