What Time is it?

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace” (Eccl. 3:1-8). “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Rom. 8:14). Those who learn to be led by God’s Spirit of truth know what it is time for, and they know what it is not time for. Everyone else walks in darkness and has no clue as to what time it is for what. That my friend is why chaos and confusion reign in the earth. Neither this world, nor many of God’s people can discern what time it is to do what. So the world continues in strife, war, and division; and the body of Christ behaves itself likewise. The only way for the love and peace of God to reign supreme is by God’s people knowing what time it is for what, on GOD’S clock. The most significant exhortation that is in order is that of the apostle Paul to the Corinthians, a congregation that was in confusion and disarray: “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (I Cor. 1:10). If God’s people will submit themselves to him and “hear what the Spirit [of truth] is saying,” that can happen (Rev. 2:7). If not, then it will not happen. The Spirit of God IS the mind of Christ, and there is no other way to know anything about God, and what he wants done; when he wants it done, or how he wants it done (Rom. 8:27; I Cor. 2:11-16). Amen.
