Scripture and Righteousness

"Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved. And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee. When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;" (Isa. 57:10-13). This is not just a post my friends, rather it is a word of prophecy from Almighty God, and from his Son Jesus Christ to the United States of America, the place I have been thankful and privileged to call home since the day I was born. This is exactly where we are at right now in this nation. The Lord gave me one scripture out of this passage, and when I went to it he gave me the other three to go with it. When I looked all three verses together, I just said, "Wow!" that's where we're at for sure. It's a message to the righteous and to the wicked of the land, and it is soon to be fulfilled. Let me translate this word in the manner that it was immediately revealed to me: There has been wickedness of great degree exalted in this country for a long time now, and it has not had judgment executed upon it. What wickedness? you might say. How about sixty million of the most brutal, excuseless murders in the history of the world, and that in forty years time? I'm talking about abortion and the 'legality' to do it. It is murder with a capital M, and it is the most horrific form of murder in recorded or unrecorded history. Period. It isn't humanly possible to commit a more atrocious murder. If you care to suggest otherwise then let me inform you that you are evil, and that you are treading a fast path to the fiery pit of hell. Period. Murder has been a crime punishable by death since the beginning of the world, and we have innumerable murderers walking around not only free of fear, but encouraged and justified by a wicked society and government thereof. All who hold to their guns with their wicked 'pro choice' mindset will not escape the judgment of the God whose face they defy and spit in. You don't believe that? Just wait around a little while and you WILL have a change of heart, maybe too late.

I'm also talking about homosexuality and the legalizing of homosexual 'marriage.' Homosexuality is an abomination to God and under his law in the old testament is punishable by death. If you want scripture for that, go look it up. Get yourself a concordance and find it on your own. That is unless you really don't want to find it. The demon of homosexuality is not satisfied with getting 'gays' out of the closet and marrying them. It wants to put anyone who is 'straight' into the closet and forbid their marriage instead. You don't think so? If this sin is not abolished in civil society, you will get to find out for yourself first hand before too long. These ills are certainly not the only problems with people today in the U.S., or anywhere else for that matter; but as long as these massive sins remain unchecked, unjudged, legalized by government, and accepted in society; there is no hope for anything else to be fixed. Okay, I'm still on the first verse of our text passage. This is a society filled with fear and anxiety, and has no rest of spirit and mind at all. Yet because the greatest of sins are both legal and encouraged, all of the wicked have "found the life of [their] hand," and therefore are "not grieved." Everyone feels they are prospering, and therefore the wicked simply will not honestly acknowledge what they feel inside; which is that there is "no hope" on the path that is overtly opposed to God and his gracious and good design for mankind. That finishes the first verse, so on to the second verse, which is mostly to those who are generally not wicked like those who proudly relish these major evils. Those who find these and other wicked works to be repugnant, by and large have not said or done enough about it on a level that has appeased the wrath of God against all such wickedness. If we see the evil of these kinds of things, and we decide that "there's just nothing I can do about it," and follow through with that sentiment; then we are in the eyes of the Lord "lying because we are afraid," and because we have not truly "laid it to heart." I have to tell you, I am feeling this go all through me, and it is a spirit of judgment and of God's wrath against defiant wickedness, as well as lethargic complacency to do anything about it. The third verse is the one that the Lord gave me to begin with, and it is the most fearful. People simply think that because everything has basically gone on for the past forty years in this country without any really major judgments from God against the nation, that it's just going to continue in like manner for ever.

Few to none understand or believe that we have been staring the longsuffering and mercy of God right in the face for the past forty years, and that his wrath is just about ready to burst at the seams because nobody is repenting of these wicked things or doing anything that is worthy to avert judgment. The last two verses divide the righteous from the wicked, and they are to the point. Everyone who practices and/or supports the evils mentioned here, and many others as well, are heading for judgment; and I'm talking about here and now while still in this life. Those who uphold such wickedness do so with their own special version of self righteousness, believing that their godless mindset is the 'right' way for people to be. They believe that is what 'freedom' is all about, to be 'free' to do whatever one feels like doing, regardless of moral quality. But when the judgment of God comes upon them like a devouring fire, there will be no escape. Let them call out to the god of their 'freedom,' and see if he/she/it will deliver them from the fury of the God of heaven and earth. Let them trust in their perverse philosophical intellectualism in that hour, and see if it 'figures out' a way to escape the wrath of "the Judge of all the earth" (Gen. 18:25). As for the righteous, let them trust in the Savior of the world who died for them, and that with all the heart in both word and deed (I Jn. 3:18). Not only so, but let the righteous who really love the Lord Jesus Christ not fear the wrath of wicked men, nor be afraid of their threats; because as the Lord declares in our last verse, it is they who "shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain." Remember God's promise to Joshua, who also was ordained to "possess the land," and take this to heart: "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law... There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life" (Jos. 1:5,7). Judgment and wrath is decreed against this nation, so whoever you are and whatever you've done or not done, repent of all sin and seek the Lord for his mercy and his power. He will forgive the honest and repentant of heart, and he will fill you with his love and power to do his will (Rom. 5:5; Acts 1:8; I Thess. 4:3). Let me finish by guaranteeing that if civil man does not take action that pleases God very soon, God will do so; and it will not be pretty. All that is left is this: "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished" (Prov. 22:3). Amen.
