Religious Racism

With so much talk in so many avenues these days about ‘racism,’ I would like to share something that the Lord let me see about religious racism. To make a long story short, every sectarian 'Christian’ affiliation is teaching those within its confines to be religiously racist toward everyone apart from that affiliation. Like racism after the fleshly manner, religious racism can be overt or it can be subtle. Whatever works for the targeted souls is what the demons of religious racism will use. The defining of the word 'racism’ is simply to have the mindset that one 'race’ is superior to another. I’ve got news for all who adhere to any such nonsense, and that is that everyone on the face of the earth is of THE EXACT SAME WORTH, because there are none living whose worth or value is measured by any criteria regarding themselves or anyone they are associated with. The ONLY criteria that can be used to measure the worth or value of ANY human being is the resolute fact that God sent his Son to pay the EXACT SAME PRICE FOR ALL MEN, and Jesus did that when he laid down his life for us all at Calvary. So any measuring stick that vain man tries to use to determine the worth or value of himself or anyone else is just that - VAIN! As it is written, “For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt” (Job 11:12). The sectarian mentality is certainly most prevalent in the Pentecostal community simply because those who have been baptized with the power of the holy Ghost know that they have something more than the remainder of the nominal 'Christian’ world that does not uphold that experience, has. So instead of simply staying filled with and demonstrating “the love of God [that] is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Ghost,” many venture forth into visions and revelations of their own hearts and minds; and before you know it we have an exclusive, 'exceptional,’ sect-minded affiliation formed (Rom. 5:5; I Tim. 1:5-7; Jer. 23:16). I’ve seen it for over thirty three years now, and I’ve seen it repeatedly. I’ve seen them refer to themselves as “the cream of the crop,” “the bride,” “message believers,” and plenty more of the like. What is it? It’s religious racism, that’s what it is. The fine folks in these kinds of affiliations are conditioned by the 'special revelations’ that are taught to them, to feel that others apart from their sect are inferior. This is in fact the spirit of the Pharisees and Sadducees who persecuted Jesus for his simplicity of love and holiness, and the power of God therein. You won’t get these people to admit this mindset with their mouths, but they think it and act it out nonetheless.

Some believe that those apart from their affiliation can be saved, but that they will “suffer loss” for not “believing the message,” or that they will “miss the rapture” and have to be “purified by the tribulation.” I’ve even seen some who believe that those of their exclusive sect will be in the new Jerusalem, whereas others apart from their exceptional company will be in the suburbs, or even on… [no I’m not kidding] 'other planets.’ That is IF God will forgive them for not receiving the grand and glorious 'message’ of their specially anointed leader and affiliation. Wow! Again I say, What is it? IT IS RELIGIOUS RACISM MY FRIEND, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. God actually gave me the word 'racism’ upon asking him about the nature of these kinds of affiliations. Funny thing is, these kinds of affiliations are usually VERY INCLUSIVE of natural 'races,’ nationalities, cultures and the like. Why is that? Because the demon forces behind these sects are very wise and cunning, and they make good use of that 'inclusiveness’ as a front to disguise what they are doing to the people in these sects; namely making racists out of them after a religious manner. The Bible I read doesn’t set forth that kind of thinking at all, but rather it says things like this: “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves” (Philp. 2:3). I can tell you by long experience that those who are “led by the Spirit of God” think like that and feel like that, and not just toward those who are of like mind with them; but toward everyone who has been redeemed by the precious blood of the lamb (Rom. 8:14). It is high time my friend for all of God’s people to raise up and shake loose from all such spiritual ties, the same way a dog would shake water off of his body. A whole lot of folks need to get back to the simplicity of the Gospel, which is following after the love of God, and understanding that there IS nothing else. In conclusion, I believe these few words from Jesus can get my point across perfectly: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat. 7:12-14). The first verse of that passage IS the “narrow way,” and it IS the “strait gate.” Nuff said.
