What will be the biggest element that will be manifested on the day of judgment

What will be the biggest element that will be manifested on the day of judgment? What will stand out more than anything else when every deed and motivation of all time among all men is revealed, and is judged with perfect justice? I believe that it will be the utter needlessness of anyone having lived their lifetime refusing to allow God to love them and bless them the way he greatly desired to do. I believe when it's all truly said and done, the thing that will be seen and felt with the greatest of impact will be the overt reality that it was so absolutely needless that people lived their lives cheating and deceiving others, and taking advantage of others for the sake of their own fruitless, momentary, supposed 'gain.' I firmly believe that the degree of horrifying regret and shame that will be felt and completely realized and experienced by everyone who went to their grave with sin in their life, will be something that even this world of sorrow and affliction has never imagined. There will be people who plotted to kill someone, maybe a spouse, for things like sick 'romance' and money; and it only brought grief and a curse upon them for their efforts. There will be people who became wealthy by stamping out other people's livelihoods, and their 'success' only led to more emptiness and futility in their lives. There will be people who killed many for religious belief's sake, and their religion never gave them peace while they were alive. There will be people there who seduced other people's husbands or wives, and it only left them a hollow, burned out cinder. On that great and terrible day there will be those who loved fornication and thought it was just fine, even though it left their life increasingly broken with every fling.

The piercing fact of the matter is it will be so manifest that it was all so needless. The foolishness of living one's life with the competitive motivation to be more significant than others will be so evident in that day that there will be nothing but unspeakable shame to show for it. But the greatest regret will be the stark reality that they didn't have to do it, and even if they did do it they could have wholeheartedly repented and trusted Jesus for the redemption and forgiveness that he paid such a price to provide. They could have been renewed and transformed by the mighty love and power of God that Jesus sent back from heaven after he suffered and died for our sins and rose from the dead (Acts 1:4,5,8; II Cor. 5:17; Tit. 3:5). They could have given in to the tender mercies of the Lord who was seeking relentlessly to deliver them from their self-made traps of lies, treachery, and crookedness. Yes my friend, on that day there will be no more lies or facades for anyone to hide behind. In reality there truly isn't anything to hide behind now, even as the scripture tells us: "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do" (Heb. 4:13). A lot of folks love going to see a movie, and I'm not being critical of that. However there will be in that day a movie of each and every life ever lived, and nothing will be left out except for the sins of those who repented and entrusted their lives to the care of Jesus. That and the righteousness of those who were redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb, and turned away from the way of righteousness and went back to iniquity (Ezek. 18:21-24; Mat. 7:21-23; I Tim. 5:24; II Pet. 2;22).

There will be such an overwhelming reality that it just wasn't worth it to have lived your life by your own misguided direction and for your own self serving purposes. To see so clearly the good that could have been enjoyed and done by all who wasted their lives on sin and unbelief, will be a regret that defies any present ability to describe or comprehend it. Then there will be the grand finale, the just sentence of an eternity of utter separation from the life and love of God that was resisted and denied by those who are lost, while they were alive and had the same opportunity to receive God's miraculous grace as those who will be saved. Yes, the lost will be given what they stubbornly showed till the end that they wanted, to not be in the great and glorious care and company of the Great Shepherd and those who love him. On top of the pain, turmoil and emptiness that they chose to live in while in this life, they will in the end be given over to an eternal horror of unspeakable darkness, unfathomable pain, and a regret never before known; and there will never be any degree of relief or rest from it forever and ever (Mk. 9:45,46; Rev. 14:9-11; Rev. 20; 12-15; Rev. 21:8). And I do believe that the complete knowledge and realization that it didn't have to be that way will be the most outstanding element of the whole affair. Thank God that we are alive today and have such mercy from God and his Son Jesus Christ available to us. We can do everything we need to do about it right now, and we can attain to and keep our "lively hope" very much alive (I Pet. 1:3). What a privilege. I'm determined to not waste my opportunity, and I am equally as determined to influence as many as I can to not waste theirs. All we have is right now. Tomorrow may not come. Amen and God bless.
