Scripture and Temptation

Proud and foolish man has gotten to such a place of arrogance and pride that he is now rewriting the moral code for the existence of mankind. It's interesting how that moral code is being written and passed into law in direct opposition to the morality that God has passed into law and writing in the holy scriptures. I guess the brassy pride of man has just elevated and accelerated itself into a place of total disdain and blasphemy against the scripture of truth, and against the one who inspired those writings. What is it? It is simply and plainly mankind giving the world which God graciously gave to him, over to the devil; lock, stock, and barrel. If you want to know where this is all heading [as if you didn't know], look no further than... you got it, THE BIBLE: "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:4-8). That's correct, the 'Beast' of the book of Revelation is not far off, and the way is being neatly paved for him by means of the willful sins and wanton lewdness and pride of the wicked of this world, many of which are in very high places of power in the earth. The book of Daniel gives us some more detail about the "man of sin" who is waiting to be manifested: "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time" (Dan. 7:25). I copied this verse because of the mention of how the Beast will "think to change times and laws."

The beginning of that changing times and laws is what we are seeing in front of our eyes today with all of the legal privilege and encouragement that is being given by the authorities of this nation and world to those who revel in the abominations of homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, etc. They think this to be 'love,' but the Bible that they cast behind their backs says otherwise: "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God" (I Cor. 6:9,10). Maybe that's not specific enough, so let's try this: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Lev. 20:13). That is obviously addressing God's mind about homosexuality, and it doesn't look like it is 'love' in his view to encourage, support, or to revel in such a thing. And it doesn't look to me like God is in agreement with the 'gay marriage' law that was recently imposed upon every state in this country by the ultra-corrupt federal government. I would say that the federal government has overstepped its bounds in more ways than one. But let's look at this scripture while we're on the topic: "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God" (Deut. 22:5). Now that one is talking about the 'transgender' craze that has become so prevalent in the earth today. Now it is not only highly acceptable and admirable to practice such an abomination, but those who do so are also being given very high privilege by the federal government so as to impose their abomination onto normal citizens by using the bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, etc. of their 'gender identity.'

Again, mankind is now calling the support and encouragement of these abominations, 'love' and 'fairness.' And again I say that the changing of such laws is leading right into the manifestation of the "man of sin," who will REALLY start changing laws on a grand scale, just as Daniel was shown. So let's cut to the chase here and see what the Bible tells us about the result of 'the "Beast's' short but marvelous run in the earth, promoting sin and blasphemy against God like the world has never seen: "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself... And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh" (Rev. 19:11,12,14,15,19-21). That's pretty clear, and I think it leaves only one question: Is it going to be worth it? And what about the world full of fools who follow after the wicked agenda of the Beast so that they can save their own hides? "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (Rev. 21:8). So again I ask, Is it going to be worth it? Amen.
