Is Christianity the Faith of Christ?

Christianity is NOT the faith of Christ, and a whole lot of people need to understand that. I’ll show you the foundational element that makes this statement true. One can get INTO Christianity by a number of man-made means. There is “getting saved” of course. And then there is “accepting the Lord as your personal savior.” Or you can “repeat the sinner’s prayer.” If those don’t work for you, you can just “join the church” by “confessing Jesus as Lord.” All of these actually fall under the headliner of “getting saved.” The problem with these religious methodologies is that NONE of them are in the Bible, and they all bypass 'repentance,' which I seem to remember reading about. Confessing Jesus is in the Bible, but only those who already have his Spirit can confess him, according to the Bible that is: “and that no man can say [confess] that Jesus is the Lord, BUT BY the Holy Ghost” (I Cor. 12:3). Do you really believe that anyone who can mouth the words, “Jesus is Lord,” is doing so because they have the holy Ghost? No my friend, the Bible is clear on how EVERYONE must get into Christ and thereby be a “new creature:” “For BY ONE SPIRIT are we all baptized INTO one body [of Christ], whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (I Cor. 12:13). Now getting 'in' that way takes repentance. And we can add to that: “Therefore if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Cor. 5:17).

So there you have it, plain and simple. Straight Bible truth, and that straight Bible truth exposes religious man’s ways of getting into Christianity to be contrary to the Bible’s way of getting into Christ, which is the only thing that actually counts. Realizing these things begs the question once asked by the Psalmist: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psm. 11:3) And there is only one answer to that all-important question: “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4). I will tell you by the holy Ghost my friend, that if you are in ANY Christian affiliation that upholds the falsehoods listed above, you need to flee from it. For indeed “the foundations [are] destroyed,” as this short article has manifested. And if the foundation is perverted, the whole house is also perverted. Flee to him and let him lead you out of the religious confusion of Christianity, and INTO HIMSELF!” What does that mean:? “Now the Lord IS that Spirit” (II Cor. 3:17). “But the anointing [the Spirit] which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide IN HIM” (I Jn. 2:27). Christianity is not "the way, the truth, and the life" my friend; but the Lord Jesus Christ, by means of his Spirit IS! (Jn. 14:6). Amen.
