Reality or Perversity?

There is no other reality that exists other than the one that God has made and established, and that which is in his hands, meaning everything. God is the only reality, and his dominion and order reign supreme in all things at all times (Eph. 1:11). Every man lives his life out encompassed by that reality, whether he likes it or not, or whether he acknowledges it or not. If one submits his very life to God, then he will be blessed. If he does not, then he has no choice but to exist in a perverted view and state of what is real and true. "The thing that hath been, is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun" (Eccl. 1:9). Neither the devil, nor sin, nor man has ever created any new thing. But rather those who have not conformed to God’s order, live in a lie about the one and only reality that exists. For instance, if a man says, “I don’t believe in God;” then I must ask him, “God who,” or “God what?” You see, the fact that someone professes to not believe in God, proves there is a God to not believe in. Otherwise why is there a ‘God’ issue at all? Or someone may believe in evolution, rather than the creation of God. Well, evolution of what? One must acknowledge the world and the universe, because it is obviously here. But one can choose to believe a lie about what God has created, if he cares to. Or what about murder? It is a perversion of the reality of bringing about life, saving life, nurturing life, and caring for your neighbor’s life. Then there’s homosexuality. God created woman for man, ordained marriage between them; and gave them the capacity to reproduce children (Gen. 2:21-24; Gen. 1:27,28). Homosexuals get married too, but none of them have ever reproduced children, nor will they ever do so. Why? Because it is a perversion of the design created by God for a man and a woman. It really is that simple.

The scripture plainly states that “the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be" (Rom. 8:7). So the only existence apart from God’s love and holiness is an opposite existence from that. Deceit is a perversion of the honesty and truth that already exists by means of how God created us. We simply have no other choice but to conform to God’s will for our good, or choose to live in a total lie in regard to what this life is about. It is God’s creation, and if we choose to live apart from his order, there is nothing left but blindness and the lies that go with it. But make no mistake, there is no lie that is not a perversion of something that God has already created and established. The word ‘pervert’ itself is defined as ‘twisting’ or ‘distorting’ a thing. Any way you try to cut it my friend, God is all in all. Always has been. Always will be. Period. It’s all his, and what we choose to do with the reality that God has given us to live in will determine whether we are saved or lost in the end. "The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein" (Psm. 24:1). And again, "He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth" (Psm. 105:7). So the following becomes real evident, real fast: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil" (Eccl. 12:13,14). So if one chooses not to follow that divinely given advice, all that is left is the following: "The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD" (Prov. 19:3). So fall out to God my friend, in all things at all times, while there is still time to do so. There is no blessedness apart from doing God’s will and being in his favor. God bless.
