Creation and the Order of God

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day... And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat" (Gen. 1:11-13,20-29).

This is an article against the theory of evolution, and I mean ANY form of evolution. This is an article for those who have faith in Jesus Christ, as it would do no good whatsoever for those who do not believe that the scriptures are infallible. I've copied everything from the account of the creation that has to do with life, both plant and animal. Let me just point out a couple of very plain facts in the account of the creation that totally do away with any idea of evolution. First of all we see in the creation of everything in the animal kingdom, God brought them forth 'after their kind,' and told them to multiply and reproduce 'after their kind.' What this means is that everything that God created that had life, was created in a fully developed state, and was able my means of male and female in the species, to reproduce after their own kind. There is absolutely no space in the scriptures to slip in the idea that anything was created in microscopic form or otherwise, and over time developed into something of full form; or even into another form of life. God commanded all species of animals to reproduce after their kind, because they were immediately able to do so, being fully formed as adults. We also see that with everything in the plant kingdom, God said that each form of life had its seed within itself, and would thereby reproduce after its own kind. This is so easy that it's ridiculous. A peach tree can produce absolutely nothing other than another peach tree, because the seed of a peach tree is what is in it. Not only so, but there was a first peach tree, or a first number of peach trees in the earth at the beginning. Every peach tree since that time came out of that first peach tree, or those first peach trees. See what I mean? That is what we have read here in the account of the creation. Grass is actually the first life form mentioned, maybe because it is such an elementary form of life. But in any event the scriptures clearly distinguish that grass would bring forth grass, and every other plant form would reproduce life 'after its kind,' because in each life form 'its seed is in itself.' That means after its kind ONLY!

It's interesting to note the word 'seed,' that it comes from the Greek word 'Zera,' which one of the defining words for is 'offspring.' This means that in both the plant and animal kingdom, God made it really simplistic, and really easy to see, that every form of life already has its offspring within itself. That is why every life form reproduces 'after its [own] kind.' This is in fact why we were all born with sin, because we were all literally IN ADAM: "For as IN ADAM all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (I Cor. 15:22). We all were accounted sinners because we were all in Adam, even as Levi was accounted as paying tithes to Melchisedec because he was IN Abraham, as it is written: "And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him" (Heb. 7:9,10). both of these verses also show us clearly that the offspring of all human beings, as well as all other life forms, were in the first male of that species. The life, meaning the spirit, as well as much of the body is in the father of the offspring. Some of the body also comes from the female. Levi was said to be in Abraham, not Sarah, because his spirit was in Abraham, even as all of our spirits were in Adam. The spirit is the life, and thereby constitutes the person more so than just part of the physical makeup, which is also found in the mother of the species. I might also add, as the verse from 1 Corinthians says, we are likewise accounted righteous if we are IN CHRIST, because he is righteous, and he begets nothing but righteousness by his Spirit which we receive by faith in him (Jn. 3:5; Jn. 7:38,39; Gal. 3:14). So there was once an original male gorilla that was created from the ground in full adulthood. He, along with his female companion has produced nothing but gorillas since that time, because his offspring were all in him. There was once an original elephant who was also taken from the ground and formed as a full adult elephant. Every elephant in the history of the world was in that first male elephant. There was a first batch of grass created in full form in the beginning of the world, and every blade of grass that has ever grown upon the earth since then was literally inside those first blades of grass.

Now we know that Adam was formed from the ground as well, and that he was made as a 'man,' not a boy or a baby. We also know that God took a rib from Adam's body and formed the first woman Eve, and brought her to Adam in full form (Gen. 2:21,22). She wasn't a girl or a baby, she was a woman; and she wasn't a minnow either, or an amoeba. Every human being from that time came from the fist man and the first woman. It's easy as pie, don't you think? It's not God who is wrapped up in complicated mysteries that can't be explained, and it is not God who has authored all of the nonsensical, confusing 'questions' that make up the theory of evolution. God is the author of simplicity and good sense. I might add that every family of humans, referred to often as races, were all in Adam; as God is a lover of diversity. That reality in itself should end all 'racial' strife among men. Many try to somehow squeeze the idea of evolution into the scriptures, but that's the only way you're going to get it there; because IT AIN'T THERE! What is there is what has been pointed out with simplicity from what IS in the scriptures. One plus one equals two. Men came from men, apes came from apes, oak trees came from oak trees, etc. For those who actually believe that "God created the heavens and the earth," it's really easy to see from the Bible that he created all forms of life in full adulthood, and ready to reproduce "AFTER THEIR [OWN] KIND!" If we want to understand truth in Christ, one of the foremost principles that must be followed is to read scripture in the context it was written in, and don't 'read anything into it' that is not there. Seeing what is right in front of us in another element of understanding divine truth. God's Spirit does not lead us to stretch into some deep, dark, mysterious place to find his knowledge. The scripture plainly says of this very issue, "Wisdom is before [in front of] him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth" (Prov. 17:24). One thing's for sure, the theory of evolution qualifies as something that's "in the ends of the earth;" because it sure as heck ain't in front of us to plainly see.
