Side With God

The Lord revealed to me powerfully in a dream in 1988 what he was going to do in the end time before the second coming of Jesus back to this world. I’m not getting into the details of it here, as I did devote a post to this revelation sometime last year; but I would just like to say a couple of things about it, and about something that pertains to it from the scripture that the Spirit has brought to my attention in the past several days. In short order, what I was shown is that by and large the body of Christ is at present totally dried up and shriveled down to a state of utter division, desolation, and powerlessness. Anyone who cannot readily acknowledge that to be true is seriously out of touch with the Spirit of God, and going about with their eyes shut. But God is going to pour out his Spirit one more time in greater abundance than in any other time in history, and whatever direction we are leaning in when it comes is the direction that we will be completely pushed into and sealed in. As it was with the first coming of Jesus, it will be for the “fall and rising again of many,” and it will cause “the thoughts of many hearts [to] be revealed” (Lk. 2:34,35). As the prophet Isaiah said of the first coming of Jesus as well: “Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it” (Isa. 40:4,5). In other words, the humble will be lifted up and carried to everlasting life by this final outpouring of the holy Ghost, and the proud will be trodden down by it. As Jesus said when he was here: “For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind” (Jn. 9:39). Yes my friend, God will manifest the love, the power, the holiness, and the truth that his Son suffered, died, and rose again to establish, one final time; and give all the world the opportunity to either receive or reject the magnificent grace that sent Jesus here to make the way for man to be redeemed and reconciled back to God. I assure you that the magnitude of what he is going to do will leave no middle ground for ANYONE to occupy! It will also fulfill the words of Jesus regarding the end: “And THIS GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and THEN shall the end come” (Mat. 24:14).

This glorious “latter rain” outpouring will also be followed by and overlapped with the greatest deception in the history of the world, and all who do not follow hard after the Spirit of truth will be swallowed up by that worldwide delusion: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for THIS CAUSE God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (II Thess. 2:8-12). I don’t know about you friend, but that passage drives a lot of godly fear into my being, and I am much determined to not be on the wrong side of that equation. Now to the point of this writing today. This glorious final act of the unfathomable longsuffering and love of God toward man has not yet begun, at least not altogether. But I can tell you that preparations are being made by God for it to come very, very soon. It is also integral and vital for everyone of God’s people to be able to recognize those preparations as they come. Even if we may not understand WHAT we are recognizing, the key is to be able to truly perceive what is of God, and what is just APPEARING to be of God. The apostle Paul clearly said that in the latter time there would be many who would be “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: [of which he said:] from such turn away” (II Tim. 3:5). Many have believed that he was talking about the Christian denominations that don’t believe in miracles and gifts of the Spirit, etc. But Jesus made it clear that there would be “many” on the day of judgment who would say to him, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?” And then will [Jesus] profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Mat. 7:22,23). The apostle Paul also warned some who were speaking proudly against him in Corinth: “But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power” (I Cor. 4:19,20). The fact was that God was with him, and he was NOT with those who were opposing Paul, and he knew 100% that this would be manifested openly when he came.

What the apostle expressed there is and has been the confidence of all who are and have been of like mind and like spirit with him. That brings me to the point, which I will close with. In the old testament, when God was ready to fulfill his judgments against the house of the wicked king Ahab who had done much evil to the righteous and to the prophets of his day, he raised up a captain of the host of Israel under Ahab’s son Jehoram, to be king (I Kin. 19:15,16; I Kin. 21:20-29). That man was Jehu the son of Nimshi, and he had a great zeal for executing the judgments of the Lord, both against Ahab’s house, and against all of the worshipers of Baal in the land (II Kin. 10:1-28). Now when Jehu was on his way to execute Jehoram the son of Ahab, and replace him as king, Jehoram saw his chariot racing in his direction from afar; and did not know exactly who he was, or why he was coming: “And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace? So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again. Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me” (II Kin. 9:17-20). As God sends forth messengers to do away with the idolatries and the erroneous leadership that has undermined HIS leadership in the body of Christ, that will be in effect the way it will be. One can choose to stand for a defeated false regime, or get behind and support those who are being sent by God to establish HIS regime and execute judgment against the idol worship among his people one final time. In other words, everyone will have the opportunity to recognize and be part of God’s victory, or be trodden down by it. Amen
