Does Every Spirit-Baptized Believer Speak in Tongues?

Comment:
Bro.Lary, I am sorry you have really been taught the wrong thing about the Baptism and if a person received the Baptism in the Spirit or Holy Ghost, one would speak in tongues at the beginning. This is a lie you are teaching and God have mercy on you..If you remember Jesus is the Son of God and He said He would send us a comforter who would lead us into all truths. When Jesus was being baptised by John in the river of Jordan, the Holy Ghost descended upon him. Now if he is the Son of God, He is the SPirit of GOd, but He still had to receive the Holy Ghost Baptism . DO you remember that Jesus Himself had to go into the wilderness and pray and fast to recieve the power from on High.. John said there is one who comes after me who shall Baptise you with Power and with Fire. This is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost which is a gift given after a person has become Sanctified and Purified to where His vessel is clean. When one gets saved many there be that still have things of the flesh they have to get rid of and sanctification is the second gift . It is a cleansing process that continually happens over our lifetime. We die daily to the affections of this world. If we could recieve the Holy Ghost at Salvation that means we have already been cleansed which is impossible to get done without Sanctification. Salvation is the repenting of Sins but it cannot do what the Power of The Holy Ghost can do for you in that it is only the first step the living a Christian life. We are not born knowing how to walk or feed ourselves. But through growth and knowledge we learn. Without our Mother and Father to teach us we might never learn much. the chances of learning on our own would be impossible that is why we have our parents. This is why even though we are children of our parents, we cannot do anything without the help of them. We are children of God being saved, but not learning or progressing without recieving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost a separate gift. Please read Acts Chapter 10 verse :42-46
Answer:
Dear ?,
Thanks for writing and expressing your opinion about what I am teaching. I would like to point out however that the things that you are trying to convince me of are just not in the Bible. There simply is no "getting saved" doctrine in the Bibe, and sanctification is by the Spirit of God (I Cor. 6:11; Rom. 15:16), which can only be received through the spirit baptism (Acts 19:2-6), which is always accompanied by speaking with other tongues. And the fact that the holy Ghost baptism is always accompanied by speaking in tongues, can be easily seen, ironically, by the scripture passage that you left for me (Act 10:42-46). Another thing you might like to pray about and study on, is that salvation is not the same thing as the new birth, but rather is what the faithful receive at the 2nd coming of the Lord, meaning immortality (I Pet. 1:3-9; Mat. 24:12,13; Rom. 13:11). The things that you have written to me are a combination of erroneous Christian tradition, and logic of man. I'm leaving you a couple of links to read on,
that I'm sure can clear some of this up for you, if that's what you want. Letting go of something wrong, and receiving the right thing in it's place, can only help, not hurt. Pride on the other hand, religious or otherwise, can only hurt, not help. Thanks again for writing, and take care.
Sincerely,
Lary Hale

I forgot to add this very important link. It explains why the holy Ghost baptism is the new birth, even though we can and do have spiritual experiences through faith in Jesus, before experiencing the new birth.
